"It was a perfectly nice stay. Clean and comfortable. My only thing I would suggest is move the bed to the back wall so you can see TV properly as I had neck ache trying to watch it sideways. Or put it on the wall at the bottom of the bed. Food was plentiful at breakfast with a good selection perfectly good stay and would stay again. We stayed one night before moving on to the broads as our main holiday but was a pleasant extension of our holiday. Would certainly do it again and recommend to others. "

"We have visited this ideal hotel previously and we enjoyed our 2 nights stay equally as much as the first time. The staff are polite and efficient and the food and drinks are excellent. Visitors much be aware that this hotel can be extremely busy during the lunch period."

"Excellent location conveniently close to Norwich train station, Carrow Road and the city centre. All within easy walking distance. Check in was great, where I met the very pleasant owner. Room was warm, quiet and clean. Had everything I needed. I think Marlborough Hotel will be number one choice when I'm back in Norwich. "

"Proper Country House Hotel. Great looking place. Staff all v friendly and helpful at every touch point from reception to the gym to the bar. Don't forget your Golf clubs (like I did) as great driving range if you don't want to play 18holes (with separate golf bar) Rooms spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit hard for my taste but blackout curtains work well! 😉"

"Very enjoyable stay. Nicely decorated room with comfy bed and small balcony. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful and seemed happy in their jobs. Pool was a much enjoyed bonus and am sure the spa is great but sadly it was fully booked for a massage at convenient times. Food of a good standard but in my opinion a little overpriced. "
