"The location is amazing and the hotel room large, clean and welcoming. We were ok but the stairs to the room may be s problem to some. That said our stay was great and the food in the restaurant fabulous. Michael was excellent and service superb. Loved our stay and the lovely walks into the Black Forest."

"Very clean and professionally run. A place where you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in providing a nice place to stay. The breakfast was the best you can get in town, fresh fruit and lot of delicious bread and cheese. Only recommendation for improvement is to have fans in the room, it was very hot day and we were on the third floor which got pretty toasty. "

"The location was perfect. We loved being in the center of things. Breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman who checked us in was very abrupt and grumpy. He acted as if we were inconveniencing him to be there. Each question was given a vague, unhelpful reply. Perhaps it is time to retire, since he doesn’t appear to be enjoying his job anymore. Otherwise, lovely stay in an old world hotel."
