"We stayed at the Colonial three different times over a period of three weeks. We stayed in three different rooms. The beds and bathrooms seemed very good. The chairs and furniture were a little odd and could use some updating. It was great to have access to a laundry. The location in Launceston was perfect for us - easy walking to enjoy the town. We would stay at the Colonial again. "

"A great location, a gorgeous old building, close to the heart of Launceston. Great restaurants and parks close by, with on site parking, it all made for a lovely stay. A warm welcome from the staff and a lovely big room overlooking the park and river in the distance made for a most enjoyable stay. "

"Spectacular River views with close proximity to Launceston. Rooms were spacious and modern. Dining options were also fabulous. "

"A modern, well equiped set of holiday units. Just what we needed for a night. There's a bar fridge and bench area to store food, but not really a kitchenette. The room was a good size and bathroom was large. Everything was comfortable and wifi was fine. There's a car park for each unit, outside play area for children and BBQ area for dinners."

"Lovely staff, nice food, beautiful room, nice, clean and cosy, location was perfect. Only thing needs improvement is the spa looked really dirty, was yellowish, so didn't feel like using it. Evn the pool looked really dirty, plenty of hair floating around, wud be gr8 if it's cleaned."
