"It was in an excellent location to use as a home base for discovering London. We used public transportation including the Thames Uber boat. The restaurant was nice and even had gluten free options for my wife. Our view of the Tower Bridge from our room was spectacular. When we arrived the safe in our room was locked, so we had to ask for assistance getting it open. The gentleman (Richard) was on it in a flash! He was courteous and enjoyable to talk with. "Overall we enjoyed our stay at the St Athans Hotel. There were plenty of restaurants and shops around which were easy to walk to. The staff was helpful and kept our luggage safe and locked when it was too early to check in and after when we had checked out but it was too early to go to the airport. They cleaned our room and provided us with extra towels when asked. We also felt safe since you cannot just walk in- you ring the bell and they have to let you in. We were worried the shared bathrooms...

"Great location but very bare-minimum, not even standard amenities like a hairdryer are provided. Way to go to the rooms is like a maze. Cumbersome check-in via terminals did not work at first and had to wait for staff to attend. "

"Lovely hotel! Very grand and huge! Staff were polite and chatty and quick to respond to any queries . The only negative was the price of drinks in the bar! Ridiculous prices even for London . The hotel itself is situated about a 5 minute walk to Victoria Coach station and underground. There is actually a bus stop right outside which is convenient. Plenty of bars and eateries in the area and The Apollo Theatre Victoria is just around the corner. We walked to most areas. It’s about a 40 min walk...
