"We were treated with great kindness by every staff member. The hotel is extremely well-located for transportation, attractions, restaurants, and cafes. It is a wonderful place from which to experience the vibrant city of Auckland. In terms of room for improvement, our mattress was a bit too hard (and I own and Extra Firm mattress at home.) Also, we experienced a poor wifi connnection in our room."

"Spent 6 nights here having arrived from Ireland. The Hotel is very central and just off one of the main shopping street of Queens Street and 10 minute walk down to the ferry port and The Viaduct area. Ok, the bed was a bit hard and the breakfast limited but for the price and location well worth it. Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. "

"This is a nice property and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was a disappointment, however. There was one push button coffee machine that was very slow, made poor drinks about half a cup in size. There was a sign that you could use a real barista for $3 except there wasn’t one on duty. The food was uninspired. the same restaurant was good for dinner. "
