"It was very fun to be so pampered and taken care of. As soon as we arrived, the staff were there ready to pamper us. One of the ladies spoke English, and was very helpful in navigating our first stay at a Ryokan. Dinner was very fun. The onsens were an exciting new experience as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it."

"The property is nice and has all required aspects for a family stay with kids with a small kids library shelf near the reception, vending machine and dining hall access throughout. Staff were also very nice and parking was ample and easy. Only regret for this property was the carpet in the room was quite old, stained and dusty - it needs replacement or deep cleaning. "The ryokan at entrance was beautiful. The lobby and the whole lower floor was spectacular. Loved how walking inside your completely transported to a Japanese experience with bridged walkways shaped of arcs and where there was ponds underneath lthose bridges. "Staff was very kind and accommodating. Bath was very nice. Elevators were small and had to wait around a long time to catch an elevator when the facility was crowded. Food was beautiful and fresh, but a little advanced for kids. Wish they had a little bit more western breakfast choices. Rooms and futons were comfortable and clean. Facility could be updated a little bit, but overall was acceptable stay. Thank you. "

"This property was absolutely beautiful. The staff super friendly. Location was good, about 15 mins walking to the lake. The staff helped me decorate the room for my girlfriends birthday which was fantastic. Only regret was not staying longer, only had one night in the Mt. Fuji area but very glad we stayed here. "

"Nice hotel. Huge room. The bathroom was bigger than the other Japan hotels we stayed at. All the staff we interacted with were fantastic. A bit of a language barrier but they tried their best to communicate. We got a really good rate for two days, included breakfast. Just so no one is caught off guard as I was, this is an adult hotel. Not as in no minors, but as in a love hotel. If you’re not familiar (I was not) Google this first before booking so you know what you’re getting into. If that doesn’t bother you, it was a great stay for a great rate. The 7/11 is across the street for good snacks and actually good meals. Check out the sweets factory a few blocks behind the 7/11. The only down fall is, it’s a bit of a hike to and from the bus station. "
