"I usually don't review hotels but Nishitetsu Hotel Croom exceeded my expectations. The property is located conventiently next to Hisayaodori station, with the station entrance on the corner of the block. Front desk staff speak english, making check in easy. "Having stayed at sister brand Onyado, I find that Dormy has a cheaper feel to just about everything. It feels like it is intended more for the business traveller, the quick in & out trip. Room was the smallest of the hotels I stayed in this recent Japan trip. They give free bottles of water whilst we were guests but the moment we checked out and asked for a bottle each for me and my wife for the airport bus journey, they turned us down saying it was only for guests. I literally just checked out....

"Overall hotel is good but minus some points as the room is kind of dusty when I checked in (bathroom door is dusty and pillow has some dust on it). Location wise it's quite a quiet area but just a few streets away is the Sakemachi station area where tons of nightlife and entertainment can be found. Located between two metro stations, it is a convenient location for staying. Another con is there is only 1 elevator for the entire building so sometimes there is a wait."
