"First time staying at this lovely 16th century hotel in beautiful Burnsall. Everything about my visit went well, my room was lovely, clean and comfortable. As a sole older woman traveller, some hotels are less accepting of the fact I'm by myself but the staff here were kind and friendly and it makes a huge difference. I will definitely go back. "

"Fabulous recent 2 nights stay at the Black Swan Inn . Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very efficient . Our room was a lovely large space and a very big king sized bed which was extremely comfortable . We will definitely return . "

"Great from check in till check out. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Work going on, so a bit difficult to park, but we found a space. Short walk into the town with lots of places to eat with 5/10 minutes walk. Would book again when visiting Harrogate "

"Can't praise the Queens Head enough. Very friendly welcoming staff, excellent menu choices all reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable accommodation. The Queens Head is situation in an ideal location to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors as well as the historic spa town of Harrogate. Very quite village location. "

"Absolutely lovely. Booked through Expedia. Upon arrival we were expected & welcomed by the host. The place was family run and everyone we encountered was brilliant, all working together & multitasking, like a well oiled machine. We stopped in room 12 on the 1st floor, it even had a little balcony with astro turf, table & chairs to allow us to sit out and watch the sunset over the trees in the distance. Room condition was very good & had everything we needed. It appeared brand new. We has an evening meal in the on site restaurant. Food was top notch. Good choices & good portions. Breakfast was in with the package, same comments as above. Finally, checkout was easy and swift. Would we stop there again - a definite YES (One comment although not of the hotel was that we used our sat nav to get there which was ok until the last quarter mile, when it took us to a lane by a field, fortunately my wife noticed a brown sign back on the main road showing the hotel's location, so word to the wise, lookout for the brown signs!!)"

"This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. Ooh, and the chef smokes and cures their own produce. The full English Breakfast fills you up for the day and I recommend this. My son had porridge and he almost licked his bowl clean on both days. We were there for a family wedding at Tithe Barn and stayed 2 nights. Everywhere you looked in this wonderful part of Yorkshire was a pleasure. Gods Own Country"
