"Easy to check in. Room was nice. large TV. one thing i could not get the BBC Red button to work just to check the news. but not major Problem, I found BBC 6 Music on the TV which was good. Breakfast was good food was warm thick bread for toast was good, two toasters and two coffee machines. good choice at breakfast. "WOW, from start of my stay till the last minute i can not rate the Marriott highly enough. Big ups to the staff!! You were/ are all absolutely outstanding and amazing humans and a credit to my stay. Enjoy your winter while i head to some warm and sunny weather."

"Good hotel overall. Spacious lobby, bar and dining areas, good food, and easy parking (although a bit cheeky charging £8/day for the privilege!). Gym was reasonable. I had one of the new ground floor rooms, but it had no desk (only a small round table which was no good for working on) and practically zero draw space. Also, housekeeping was poor (I came back to find my curtains still closed, lamp still on, wet towel still on vanity sink unit, and only one of the two mugs washed up, with the other...

Lovely little spot

"A perfect little stay - no muss, no fuss. Room had everything I needed. Wayne went out of his way to help me with some extra things and was generally very supportive. Shower was a bit confusing but I suspect that's due to me being American and not used to that type (but the medium setting with the knob at the first red dot was good for me). Pub just across the street was very helpful for meals since I didn't have a car. I'll be back!"

Charming and characterful

"I thought the hotel was delightful…old and full of character. We were stopping off for an overnight stay on route to a festival at Cropredy. The room was small but had all the essentials, comfy bed, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hopefully make this an annual stop over with our friends. "
