Staff were really friendly, cleaning team was great and the property is in a great spot in the city. Double bed was quiet uneven with one side being raised higher than the other, so the comfortability wasn't that great. I knew coming into the stay that the rooms were small, but they are in fact really small so need to be smart with how you organize your luggage.

This was my first time to stay at a podlike hotel, and I was a bit unsure I’d like it. One of the many points in Little Charlie’s favor is that the online photographs were an accurate portrayal of the room, so I had a good idea of what to expect. The room was indeed small, but the layout was so efficient that it didn’t feel claustrophobic. I do wish there had been an actual drawer for underwear, etc., but keeping those in my suitcase under the bed worked. The shower had hot water, but the pressure was low even at 5 a.m. I didn’t complain about that at the time, but I wish I had.

OMG, what an adorable little hotel! My room was REALLY tiny, but so comfortable, modern, and with a great bathroom behind a sliding door. I only spent two days in NYC, and that was all I needed. If you like to walk, you could literally walk to Times Square - it would be about a 40-minute walk (without any stops). It was just perfect! Highly recommend it! :-)

Rooms work well for single people over a short stay. It is a bit challenging getting in/out of a high bed with no side access (especially in darkness!) but once in, I found it super cozy. The rooms are new and modern, and housekeeping did a great job. Proximity to Grand Central makes transportation easy. I had an issue with my air conditioning where no matter how I set it, it would default to 97 degrees after a period of time (even if I turned it off). The day team didn’t seem to be able to fix it, but after three nights of little sleep, they moved me (shout out to the afternoon guy who tried his best to fix it one night). My last two nights were great :)

Little Charlie was the best decision we could've made. The place looks new, rooms are modern and clean, the area is safe (close to the United Nations and a lot of Permanent Missions, so it's pretty safe), and is close to a lot of touristic places and subway lines. 10/10 would stay there again

Our room was small but clean. The smart tv was added bonus. The breakfast buffet needs to add some sources of protein like cream cheese (on bagels) and hard boiled eggs. Our room was on the street side and the noise at night was very loud. The solution was ear plugs. Overall, we would still recommend it because of it's location and price point.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean and in a great area no more than a 5/10 minute walk from some of the main attractions, or is right on top of both subway and metro stations! Definitely recommend, we feel very lucky to have found this hotel when looking and would definitely stay here again!

I really liked the ambient of the property, but this might not be a place for everyone as it is small. I didn't mind it because me and my husband were able to relax. Also the rooftop is very cozy.
