"Quaint New England feel that you will not get with modern chain hotels. Plenty of amenities and very accommodating and friendly staff. They will catch the next elevator or walk the stairs even if you let them know its ok to share the elevator. Only difficult part was walking the hill to our room after having one too many. Very walkable to all the restaurants and pubs. "

"We loved the history about this property! At check in the woman at the front desk was the nicest most informative receptionist I have ever encountered. She walked us through the history of the hotel, the famous Devlin family, restaurant's, mirror lake, & attractions near by. One of the best check ins we ever had! During check out we interacted with her again & another wonderful lady who helped us with our ventures for that day. Very informative & both were so sweet. We will definitely come back...
