"Room was spacious and clean. It was very very noisy because it’s on a busy corner on a main street into town. No air condition so we had to leave the windows open, which made it even noisier. Did not have breakfast there because there was little atmosphere, and we decided to walk into the main town. Probably would not recommend the hotel due to the noise you want to get a decent night sleep! "

"Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. With a large family, we stayed in the chalet which was so nice and comfortable. We wanted to stay forever! The beds were comfortable. The views were beautiful. We were also right in the middle of everything. It was so easy to tour the old town. We hope to make it back here someday!!"

"As others have said, it is an odd check-in experience. Your in a lobby with vending machines and an ATM, and do an automated check in that was straight forward and delivers your keys. The entrance is on the left side of the building outside the lobby, and you do have to climb a flight of stairs to the rooms. The place feels totally empty. But the room is clean as can be, has all the essentials, storage, windows that open for fresh air and a nice shower. And you're staying inside the Rothenberg wall! In the morning you go downstairs and see other travelers and have a lovely buffet breakfast and made to order eggs. The woman who maintains the buffet is kind and helpful, and suddenly the hotel is a welcoming place! The housekeeper was also pleasant."
