This hotel is located above bakery, and the breakfast provided comes straight off the bakery display. It's AMAZING! The food, the location, the hospitality of the hosts, all fantastic. We can't say enough good things about this hotel. The only downfall is the street noise, but when you're located on the main area of the town, you have to expect that a bit. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Our stay was amazing. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and our room was perfect. We especially loved the shower/tub combo which was convenient after miles of walking.

Amazing town. Excellent location. Excellent, secure parking. Room very clean. A bit dated. Beds comfortable but a bit firm. Our room overlooked street so heard a bit of traffic but nice window box and windows opened for fresh air. Very nice breakfast.

Couldn't be more convenient!

Everything was great except furnishings were a bit outdated. Breakfast was served to us rather than buffet style and was very good. Super location! Parking up a hill and in a garage - very clean and secure.

We didn't get to actually stay in this hotel as it got overbooked. Not to worry though as the team there made sure we were in another great room next door. The area is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and breakfast was tasty. I couldn't believe that you could drive right up to the hotel as you drive down the medieval streets that look like they are only meant for walking.

I stayed here as a solo female traveler and I felt safe. The hotel is in a convenient location. The room is small but clean with a good view. I loved their breakfast! As a vegetarian, I often struggle with having enough breakfast options. They took care of catering to my food preferences pretty well. I would say the downside is the tub is quite high. I almost fell getting out after taking a shower. A small table fan would help since there is no air conditioning.

The best way to describe Hotel Uhl is charming and comfortable. Our room was very comfortable and cute, comfy duvets and pillows, lots of plugs and outlets (bring a plug converter if you come from outside the EU), an updated bathroom, and a wonderful view over both old town and the surrounding countryside. This hotel is also located right between two local landmarks (the Plönlein and the Seiber Tower), and is very walkable to food, shopping, the post office, and historic sites. You get in your steps every day with all the hills and steps, and even walking around the old walls. Check in was very easy and friendly. We appreciated having an old fashioned key to unlock our room and hotel access, so avoid any electronic difficulties. We also really appreciated their timely and welcoming communication before check-in so we felt confident that they were expecting us. They also provided us with a well-designed brochure & map of the city and area, which was great to help us plan our sightseeing and navigate the city. We would definitely stay here again.
