"I had a great experience at The Truitt. The hosts were very helpful via email and text. I was sent all of the door codes & parking info well ahead of time before check-in. "Location of the property was good for our stay, front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the unfortunate experience of a toilet that wouldn’t stop running. Unfortunately it was at night so we didn’t want to call for help so had to put up with the noise and not use the bathroom all night. We did ask front desk staff to have it checked when we checked out. Hopefully it’s taken care of. Otherwise the rooms & breakfast area were okay. "

"Very classy tasteful hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the entrance of the property and the staff was friendly and polite. Downside was the parking was expensive however it was very secure and I felt safe parking and entering from the garage. The room was very nice and the beds were comfy. "We enjoy staying at Residence Inn hotels because they have a kitchen in the room. We don't like to go out all the time. This Residence Inn was right in the middle of the city - with tons of stores and restaurants just a short walk away. Also very close to Hyvee Arena where we needed to go for a dance competition. "Very nice area, the lobby is gorgeous, they have a self checkout for the convenient area, didn’t get a chance to try the coffee pastry area but was excited about that. However for how much we paid for a one night stay there was a stain on the carpet (wasn’t sure what it was) and the bathroom door knob seemed to be broken. Other then that everything seemed nice."

Would def stay here again.

"We stayed here for my daughter’s 16th bday. Her and some friends stayed in one room and my husband and I had own room. The rooms are great! The girls had a blast annoying room service which was really speedy, the room that has a 2 room feel due to dividing chest/swivel tv. The bed could have been a little comfier but that was the only negative thing I could say about the stay. Would def stay again. "
