With the public transportation being as good as it is in Lausanne, I would prefer the next time staying farther away from the hustle and bustle. "If you are arriving in Lausanne by train, the hotel is conveniently located between a couple of stops on metro line 2. I chose a double room rather than a single and therefore had a significantly larger room for very little additional money. The air conditioning didn't work and the fridge didn't keep anything cold.
