"A late Valentines night away. We stayed in the superior room which had everything you could ask for. The Bath tub is a must and the spa facilities were perfect to unwind after a freezing cold day! "Spacious room, comfy bed, quiet area as in the middle of nowhere. We very much enjoyed breakfast, too. The not as good: -we couldn't get the jets on the bath to work -soap at the sink ran out after the first use, but there was plenty of one in the shower so we didn't bother asking for replacement -the TV has very long response time - you press the button on the remote and nothing happens for at least 15-20 seconds. Overall, very good value for money. "

"Lovely hotel The annexe area is very tired and the bathrooms need updating. The spa was ok but could benefit from an upgrade and maybe some soft relaxing music in the treatment rooms. The staff were ok. No one ‘went the extra mile’ let’s say. Staff need to be more customer focused at times felt like they were putting themselves out to accommodate us when it should be that nothing was too much trouble especially in the spa. This didn’t spoil our stay though. "
