"This is my first trip to Athens. The location of this hotel is fantastic - after a day of figuring things out, I was able to walk to all the sights, squares and eateries easily. "This property is close to restaurants anh some of the main sites, about a 5 minute walk. The area around has a lot of derelict properties and the pavements are a combonation of uneven and narrow. Didn't feel unsafe at all. Not one if mobility is an issue. 15 minute walk from metro. Breakfast was good choice of hot and cold buffet. Modern well kept hotel, our room had a lovely large balcony "

"The Hotel was phenomenal. The room was super clean. The breakfast was Excellent. The staff was extremely friendly. I told them we were celebrating an event. They wrote me a beautiful note. Also, excellent location. The hotel is very close to the train station. For 1.20€ we took the train to the cruise port then ubered (8€) to our cruise ship as Athens Port is extremely big and not walkable. The whole experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel is located at an ideal place for places of interest. However, the elevator scheduling requires improvement. It took me more than 25 minutes to get into an assigned lift to get down to the ground floor (I suppose, it is the peak hour)."

A Lovely Stay

"Lovely stay. Our room with a direct view of the Acropolis. Rooftop restaurant was wonderful. Staff in reception and in restaurant were all pleasant and helpful. It's a very small hotel and you can't drive right up to the door but neither of those were a problem for us. The location is literally right on Monastiraki Square which is lively deep into the night which, again, was not a problem for us as we use earplugs and sleep deeply but could be a problem if sensitive to noise."

"My son and I stayed here for a week. We were both very impressed with the Hotel. We paid for the Superior Room Acropolis View. Had a great balcony with a great view of the Acropolis. I am an experienced Hilton Diamond Member, and this was a first class experience for us. Additionally, there is a small restaurant called "The Bread Company" just "feet" from the Hotel entrance. Best food ive had in a long time, and cheap. If i go back to Greece, The Stanley is my go to hotel. "
