"Located in a comparatively quiet area. Convenient, subway station (Wuding Road Station) just cross the street of the hotel, can go to tourist spots i.e. The Bund, Yuyuan, Xintiandi etc. Also, there is a nice little Italian restaurant adjacent to the train station serving good food at reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay."

"URBN Boutique Shanghai hotel was as lovely as the photos in our Expedia booking website. Our room had lots of reclaimed wood on the floors and walls, spectacular tiles on the floor, many noticeable details that made it look modern but also comfortable. The shower floor and walls look like gray slate and it was really big with an overhead rainfall shower as well as a hand held shower head. "Great location and the rooms are large; however the design of the room I stayed at was that you can't actually enclose the area of the bathroom which is a bit weird. The breakfast buffet was nice and the wifi speed was pretty good as well."

"Large room with super huge bathroom. However, water pressure in shower was weak. When bathtub is being filled up (which takes ages), the shower cannot be used cos no water. Room too dimly lit. "My go- to hotel in Shanghai- perfect location, 1 block from the famous Nanjing Rd, very upscale property, half block from metro line 2, direct to airport, luxurious rooms- everything is gold or bronze plated, but it works in a gaudy way. I’ve been coming here for years, and the room furniture and fixtures are showing wear. Otherwise, a great property. TIP: book a deluxe room, not much more but very large!"

"This place is near to metro line, shopping street and eating restaurants. The hotel is clean. The cleaner cleans until the floor are very shining. Fast service whenever you ask for help. Only thing Im not happy is that we have to pay rmb 1k deposit. We need to swap the credit card rmb1k on top of the room rate during check in. This is the hotel policy that we cant change."
