"What a treat to stay here after a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main part of town but it was truly a mini oasis once you entered the grounds. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This was one of the few places in Myanmar that had a set breakfast instead of a buffet but this was one of the most beautiful breakfast setups during my travels! I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you come to Nyaungshwe, do yourself a favor...

"This is a real gem. Let the owner organise all your sightseeing and trips, she is amazing. Felt really welcome, like family. Huge yummy breakfast. Big rooms and bathrooms. Short stroll into town and plenty of restaurants nearby. Nothing at all to complain about. Would stay again for sure."

By the time I got back from the atm which is only across the road they had a guide there ready to take me. That is great service. I was on the water enjoying my day with twenty minutes of arriving."

From the manager to the staff, the service is superficial as they don't address concerns timely and they'll shake their head or indicate it's no problem and then do absolutely nothing about it. We always request a quiet room and specify our vegan diet. We were assigned a room with a broken A/C and the staff were well...

However.. we asked to switch our bungalow room, due to a foul sewer-like smell emanating from the shower area, and we were told quickly and not politely (by the owner, not the staff) that it was not possible because there are many guests that come and go. Reluctantly, we were given a different room, which was clean. "

"It’s a 10 minute walk from town. Which is a good thing. I like to walk a little in the morning, and it’s a nice walk, and the hotel is very quiet. It is clean and new with a very aim to please staff. I really enjoyed my stay there."
