"Very big, clean comfortable bungalow in garden setting close to canal with boats to take you to the lake. Very helpful polite staff just waiting to be of service. Hotel is away from town which suites us since we enjoy walking. Bicycles are also available to use.Really good breakfast "

"What a treat to stay here after a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main part of town but it was truly a mini oasis once you entered the grounds. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This was one of the few places in Myanmar that had a set breakfast instead of a buffet but this was one of the most beautiful breakfast setups during my travels! I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you come to Nyaungshwe, do yourself a favor...

"Nice place to stay. The room was a bit basic. Great garden to hang out. Staff very helpful and friendly. Family like atmosphere. Good location."

"Khun Zaw Wan, the front office assistant supervisor is a friendly and helpful staff. He shared lots of stories about Myanmar with us too. We are allowed to have an early check in and late check out at 3pm. There are bicycles for you to ride for free. We had a good stay."

By the time I got back from the atm which is only across the road they had a guide there ready to take me. That is great service. I was on the water enjoying my day with twenty minutes of arriving."

However.. we asked to switch our bungalow room, due to a foul sewer-like smell emanating from the shower area, and we were told quickly and not politely (by the owner, not the staff) that it was not possible because there are many guests that come and go. "It’s a 10 minute walk from town. Which is a good thing. I like to walk a little in the morning, and it’s a nice walk, and the hotel is very quiet. It is clean and new with a very aim to please staff. I really enjoyed my stay there."

"Hotel was nice. Made to order breakfast was good (but ends at 9:30 am). Apparently the double bed rooms are just 2 twin beds pushed together. When we tried to explain that we had booked a double bed, they just shoved the beds together and told us that all the rooms were like that. Never found out if that was true. Shower had hot water, although it was difficult to get it an appropriate temperature, as you had to jiggle the knob between freezing cold and scolding hot. Location was fine, walking...
