"It's atmosphere is very good with full of flowers. However, what is good ends there. The room was cold at night, electricty recepticles were sluggish and the basin cap plug did not work. The hot water capacity was too small and I had to give up filling a bath tub with hot water. Preparing breakfast was very slow."

"WE arrived there quite late, 4pm. It was about to be sunset and get cold. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful in giving tips to eateries and sights. The location of the hotel, on top of a hill, gives to great view of the sunset and sunrise as well as being a good marker for navigating back when you explore the small town by foot. "

Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. "I liked the friendly staff, especially since we had to do ankate check in, very accommodating. However.. we asked to switch our bungalow room, due to a foul sewer-like smell emanating from the shower area, and we were told quickly and not politely (by the owner, not the staff) that it was not possible because there are many guests that come and go. Reluctantly, we were given a different room, which was clean. "

"What a treat to stay here after a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main part of town but it was truly a mini oasis once you entered the grounds. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This was one of the few places in Myanmar that had a set breakfast instead of a buffet but this was one of the most beautiful breakfast setups during my travels! I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you come to Nyaungshwe, do yourself a favor...
