"this hotel is right by the beach, the area looks a little bit shady when coming at night, like a gentrified hipster area, but during the day you can see they have alot of shops and the free access to the onsen is wonderful, apparently on clear days you can see mt. fuji from the outdoor pool. the mini house room we stayed in was super cool and comfortable. and theres an amazing italian restaurant 5 min walking from the hotel called castigliona which is cash only so bring alot with you, but...

"Very new and extremely well equipped. Lovely bathroom area. Could easily get large suitcase into capsule. Capsule got very hot despite hallway being cool - ventilation not great. Bear in mind you're still essentially in a dorm without soundproofing - one person talked on phone till 1am. Could benefit from a more comfortable lounge area."

"The best part of the room was the shower - look for the waterfall shower-head -- an unexpected luxury in an otherwise very basic room. I found the bed and pillow to be quite hard, and the breakfast was very basic Japanese fare (onigiri, miso soup, plain bun). "
