"During our 5-day trip to Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, this hotel was by far the best choice we made. For our anniversary trip, the hotel staff upgraded us to the Hunter Suite and surprised us with a lovely bottle of local sparkling wine—such a thoughtful touch! We also had dinner at Botanica, one of their associated restaurants, located about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The meal was excellent and well worth the trip. "Lovely space, spa bath in bathroom was great, outdoor area a bonus, couple of maintenance issues in room, toilet seat closing was deafening. Shower taps don’t turn off properly. Property nicely maintained. However pool & pool area needs extra TLC. Top row of tiles needs cleaning as depths marker tiles very dirty & hard to read. (Safety issue) Staff in restaurant were great. "

"Meg the receptionist was incredibly helpful. Rosa was also very helpful. The property was really great excluding the aircon which badly need servicing. The ability to pay when you get there should also be a thing that stays. Meg was immensely helpful with navigating the area, filling us in on the hotel and just generally so friendly. Will definitely come back!"

"We had a 3 night stay. The room was a good size with a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pool. The bed for me was a little uncomfortable. It was a king (I think) but a definite sag in the middle.Weather was not kind as it rained most of the time so can't comment on the pool which would have been nice to relax at days end. Breakfast included was continental but sufficient. the usual cereals, fruit, breads etc. A little out of city centre so meant we needed to drive into town rather than...
