Historical building but well maintained. Old style room with shared bathroom but good price for what it is. Bar and restaurants downstairs with the beer garden. The checkin was slow and got some confusion but the manager got us an upgrade, well managed. 20 mins drive to Hunter garden, 15-20 mins drive to all wineries

It was good, but only complaint after working on very hot days no air-conditioning just a fan ,where it did nothing ,,,,had to get up throtnight to hace

It is simple but nice - no heating unless you ask but it is very clean and tidy and full of history. Great service. We had breakfast and dinner all in the hotel ( good food and choices) and there was a fantastic band. - We'll be back!

The bedside tables and mirrors were dirty. The room was smelly . A cold night but no blanket or doona on the bed just a bedsheet.
