I've never stayed somewhere with worse customer service, including the front desk (exception for 2 ppl), restaurant, maintenance, and more. All around horrible experience and I would never return. It is under construction and doesn't make mention of that, refused to give us milk for the FREE "in-room coffee" (said we had to pay $5). It was atrocious. Could hear everything in our room.

This hotel has been far from accurate since the beginning. The reason I chose this hotel was based solely on the description provided on the website, but I am deeply disappointed. My room type was supposed to be Park View, but it was nothing like that. Instead, it was noisy due to ongoing construction, and the dust was unbearable. I had specifically informed the hotel in advance that I am sensitive to dust and odors, and I even received a confirmation email that my room would be thoroughly cleaned. However, the room still had a strange smell, though the cleanliness was acceptable. Additionally, the staff was unprofessional, which made matters worse. My short trip was completely ruined. I am seriously reconsidering my choice.

The TV didn't work and even a maintenance man couldn't make it work. The air-conditioning was jammed on but noisy so I turned it off. The lift was a bit temperamental, it would go up if you pressed down. Otherwise a very comfortable hotel.

The noise level was unacceptable! At one point, it sounded like someone was actually in my room with me. I didnā€™t sleep for 2 nights bc of the noise, you can hear it from outside, inside, everywhere. Itā€™s so loud. It was also dirty, the showers didnā€™t work, every time I took a bath, the entire bathroom floor would be covered in water. I donā€™t know how there isnā€™t mold everywhere. In addition, I donā€™t know what allergens were there but my face just broke out in hives. I wouldnā€™t stay here. At least it wasnā€™t worth the money bc it wasnā€™t cheap either.

Lovely old style and charming hotel well located in South Beach. Whilst an older hotel thatā€™s part of the charm. Let down by over zealous staff literally chasing me out the door on Sunday morning with knocks on the door starting at 9am and calls to the room prior to check out time to make sure I was leaving. Left a bad impression on an otherwise nice hotel.

This is a great little spot. I appreciated the vintage feel of the hotel. I was worried when I read other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. If youā€™re expecting a modern hotel then you may disappointed. Our rooms were mostly updated to an acceptable level. The beds were a bit saggy. Nothing was perfect but it was clean and the pool area was fantastic. The location is also amazing. We walked one block to the beach and felt safe walking the main street at night as well. I would definitely go back.

The photos and description in Expedia were many times better than the actual place. From the moment we arrived we had issues with the room: it was way smaller than how it looked, the faucet of the shower was broken, the water was not really hot, the phone did not work and the WiFi was so weak their own streaming would not work and they were not able to fix it. Later on when we wanted to go to the beach, we asked for the golf cart (as advertised) to take us there and they told us it was not working and that they may have it fixed in one week. This was followed by an employee trying to explain to us that we should be able to walk to the beach (with my 78 year old mother) and that it was not a big deal that the golf cart was not working. He did not even try to apologize for offering a service in the website which was not really available. Once at the beach we were told the hotel offered lounge chairs, which it did however, you had to pay for the umbrella and they had ran out of towels. When we went back to the hotel and to the pool area, they also did not have towels and the bar/restaurant by the pool did not offer any food. The whole hotel was Instagram ready but very superficial and everything seemed to be breaking.
