"Our stay was pleasant. Staff were very accommodating, but on two separate occasions we made bookings with the staff, and the bookings weren’t actually made. They were very agreeable with us, but we later found out they didn’t actually understand us. We feel they needed more staff that could speak and understand English. Other than this, we did enjoy our stay and the hotel is beautiful."

"Room 1011 is nice with 2 windows facing city towards other tall buildings but not close, so we can still have privacy, loved our room, shower and bathroom could be a little roomier, but shower water pressure is great, wish room wasn’t carpeted, would feel cleaner that way. Lobby is nice, bar area is cool, location is walkable to bus, train stops or PK shuttle which is free with a transit card, security is tight, feel safe here. "An Absolute Gem in Jakarta – Exceptional Experience! This was my first time in Jakarta, but as an experienced world traveler with stays at top hotels across the globe, I can confidently say this hotel is an undiscovered jewel. Unlike the usual tourist hotspots, it offers an unparalleled level of comfort and service. My room was simply outstanding—featuring a spacious walk-in closet, an enormous bathroom divided into three separate areas (shower, dual sinks, and toilet), and a beautifully designed bedroom/studio. This stay was my stopover before heading to Sorong for a diving trip, and the hotel’s Olympic-sized saltwater pool was a game-changer. It allowed me to check my dive gear—something often frowned upon in the U.S.—while also preparing for my dives with some solid swim sessions. The spa was at the level of a top-tier Japanese spa (and I say this having just been in Tokyo two weeks ago). Breakfast was exceptional, offering a perfect mix of Western and Indonesian options—Eggs Benedict done to perfection, incredible local dishes, fresh juices, and expertly crafted coffee drinks. I also had a fantastic Indonesian chicken soup for lunch at the café—absolutely delicious. The location is another huge plus. The hotel has direct access to Plaza Indonesia, and the magnificent Grand Indonesia Mall is just next door—making everything incredibly convenient. One of the true highlights of my stay was the exceptional hospitality. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness were beyond me!"

"This is my go-to place to stay if I am traveling outside of Indonesia. The staff is well versed in travelers needs and will offer helpful suggestions. There is a good selection of food and drinks available in several different restaurant settings. My favorite is the rooftop with great views. This trip was my first since the pandemic and I am thrilled that FM 7 is still great and remains my favorite travel hotel."

"Place is great. A haven in the chaos of jakarta. Close to nice attractions, but the endless trafic and pollution of the area ruins the whole thing. But thats jakarta. Hotel is super, staff very competent and friendly, spacious rooms, beautiful pool, AND excellent breakfast... the best ive had actually!"
