"To be fair, we went during the off season (September and hurricanes) and it seemed like they were low staffed with low occupancy, but overall the resort is fantastic, with lots of daily activities and we highly recommend Joy’s adventure to the volcano mud baths and waterfall! "Our stay was 10/10. The hospitality, the food, the property, and the pool were amazing. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The fan in the room kept us cool on the hottest days. My only complaint would be the mosquitoes; they can be quite irritating. If you are planning to stay in the open-concept room, bring something long and light to sleep in and to walk around the room in, and you should be fine."
