"This is such a cozy and charming place with thoughtful considerations to decor and service. The rooms however are dated. Blinds looked grimy and were broken. Tape on windows from where it was cracked. Furniture was worn, but this is overlooked by the fireplace, incredibly comfortable bed with clean comfy sheets. "Quaint hotel with a lot of character. The 24/7 hotel was great, professional and friendly. The free continental breakfast was very good, and it's worthwhile.to stay just for the antique elevator. That said, rooms are very old and I had to leave the window open to get rid of the dusty smell. This did not bother me at all. "

"My stay at the San Francisco Marriott Union Square was pleasant. The hotel's prime location near Union Square was perfect for exploring shops and restaurants. "We stayed here for one night while passing through. We brought our toddler along so we wanted a hotel in a safe area and close to public transport access. The stop is right across the street. It’s a short ride to Fisherman’s Wharf and surrounded by all the high end stores. We felt safe walking at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our daughter really enjoyed the glass elevator view! Nice, quiet hotel in the heart of Union Square. I’d stay here again in the future. "
