"When I checked in expecting to be given a deluxe corner suite instead been given double room at the corner! I booked 2rooms the other was twin sharing floor 2 next to us as requested but my room was not Suite. I was very upset that's they wanted to cheat on me they think.Iam so stupid doesn't know the difference between the two after a lot of waiting and telling them will call expedia and as a Gold member they changed to room no 1006 that's was suite but by then all my mood has changed...

"There was black mould growing on the walls underneath peeling wallpaper. The roof leaked. Tv did not work,fridge stopped working, no coat hangers,no mattress protector no top sheet on bed,water took 15mins to come out of the tap i timed it then 10 mins to get hot."

They switched our room for a horrible smelly one, and blamed it on Expedia booking ( don't believe it for a second) and one of the manager was incredibly rude. Trying to be a luxury hotel but not quite getting there. Parking nearby difficult, no one to assist with bags, breakfast mediocre. poor lighting in rooms, bad internet, terrible bathroom plumbing."

"My friend and I visited Mardin during a snowstorm. The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. In short they were very accommodating and hospitable….. They were extremely helpful with parking and retrieving our car during deep snow conditions. The room was very comfortable and I loved the restroom with big shower. The views from the room was amazing. The hotel itself is decorated beautifully… but truly the gem of the hotel is the GM. We shall be returning again and again. "
