"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "Amazing value for money! Pleasant helpful staff. Food varied according to chef from superb (We had one of the best meals of our trip here) to slightly disappointing, food cool, sandwiches a bit curly. Handy location for Ratnapura and its busy gem dealers. Wifi fine, though no pool. Photos of activities slightly naughty as they are not on site or within walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay here."

"The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... "Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak."
