"Staff really friendly, I had a night out the night before but badly injured my ankle to the point I couldn’t walk, when it came to checkout a lady knocked on the door and seen I was struggling, immediately got a staff member to help me pack and bring my belongings down stairs, I was in crucial pain and they did everything to help! "

"Beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and spa area. Excellent location. The only issue was the restaurant which was extremely loud and not ideal for our group. The library bar was closed and not accessible to our group unfortunately. The service in the restaurant at dinner was very poor we eventually left without an offer of deserts or coffees . "

"Hotel is well located with good public transport connection. Quick and efficient check in. Nice and friendly staff. Bit disappointed with me room though. Window was facing the ring road and with old type of glazing I had all the traffic in my room all night. Ear plugs is a must. Pleased with room and bathroom size and cleanliness. "

"We arrived far too early for check in but the staff still tried to find us a room. This wasn’t necessary as we were planning to explore the city. But as soon as we arrived the lobby, reception, and restaurant were all very well maintained and decorated charmingly for the Christmas period. Our room was spacious and comfy with tea, coffee, snacks and quality shower products provided. We ended up having our evening meal in the restaurant and both the service and food were great. "This Hotel was a great hotel a few years ago and we always enjoyed our time there.On this visit I was surprised to find a lot of the little extras such as Tissue’s, Shower gels,just the little extras that made it special.The Hotel just needs updating and it will be the perfect place to visit for its so central to the centre of town and the main Train Station."

"Great view from the 11th floor, good for stop over as cheap in the midweek, easy reach of the station. If you want to get there without having to walk out the front of the station and negotiate the bridge, exit through the metrolink exit and it's just across the road! "

Excellent all round.

"Got there very late xmas day night nafter a hideouse journey from plymouth. Even though it was so late there wa a very friendly man to check me in even though hotel was deserted. was very quickn and gave me lovely room. I only made the long trip to lay flowers on my sisters nearby grave at a nearby cenetary that hadn't been visited for 40 years."

"What a lovely place. Set in quiet village right next to Dunham Massey and Tatton Park which we visited. The breakfasts are excellent and thoroughly recommended - you will not need lunch !The hosts Janice and David were very friendly and welcoming . Those guests of a certain vintage may recognise the original Silver Fox , David , as he was a Snooker champion. No airs or graces as the saying goes its nice to be important but more important to be nice. Great location to visit Manchester without all the hustle of staying in the City , Altrincham tram stop is near by. We are looking forward to staying again in Summer, they have a lovely country garden to enjoy and have a refreshing drink and there is a pub right next door. Rooms are immaculate with all the usual facilities and a few home touches like a welcoming sherry too."
