"Brilliant place for a three-night stay! We had a two-bedroom house for three adults and two toddlers, and it was great—comfortable, spacious, clean, and excellent value for money. We’ll definitely be back! The only thing that could have made it even better would be replacing the old carpet with the same flooring as in the kitchen."

"The lounge, bistro and restaurant were lovely. Staff were excellent. The food was extremely good. The bedroom was okay, but the decor looked a bit tired. For a four star hotel the the facilities in the room were limited. No spare toilet roll, no shaving mirror and the room itself was a little small. The toilet did not flush that well and the hot water/heating pipes were noisy. "

"I booked The Sawmills as it was close to where a family member lives and had no idea how great it would be. It is so well run by John, the food is fantastic, all the staff are great, the chairs by the fire are super comfy (the ideal spot for an excellent baked Camembert) and the rooms are incredibly clean. Oh and the espresso martinis are first class and the full English breakfast was just about as good as they get. I highly recommend this place and I never normally leave reviews. Will...

"The room was spacious and newly decorated, with a very comfy bed, and all spotless. Staff were very friendly and helfpul. The pool and sauna were a great bonus (note that the saunas are in the changing rooms, one for women and one for men). "
