This resort is in a good location. I gave it a 3 star review. The beach access is small. Plus while on the beach i was constantly harrassed to buy goods from locals on the beach. Im on vacation to relax not haggle. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the dinner here is overrated. I would recommend dinning outside the resort.

There is no better location in Cabo San Lucas. The view from nearly every room is exceptional and Casa Dorada is directly on Medano Beach. You will not be disappointed.

The resort is in a great location, beautiful views, great beaches, and lots of restaurants or shopping opportunities. The staff is amazing!! They are very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Casa Dorada is in the best location for everything! It's located on Medano Beach where you can swim and it's in a great area for walking everywhere. There are great dining options within a five-minute walk directly outside the door of Casa Dorada and a quick walk to the marina. Food at Casa Dorada is delicious! The staff is amazing. The towel attendants - Emilio, Carlos and Gabino, are so friendly and welcoming - they assist with the beach umbrellas. The staff on the beach - Mauricio, Daniel and Sergio are all very attentive. Rooms are cleaned in the day and additional towels and bed turn down are done in the evenings. Everything is wonderful A !!

Casa dorado is a nice hotel…we were grateful to be upgraded to a room with an additional bathroom. The piece we didn’t like is the nickel and diming, especially at a “luxury” hotel. You had to pay for coffee pods after the first day and even the coffee in the lobby was not free. Shocked…it’s coffee. The constant upsells or selling of services or products on the property left my fiancé annoyed. Ruining the experience. The pool is a bit dated and narrow but nice they have an adult and family/kids area. It’s nice that you can also choose the beach instead of the pool. We did both. They have a couple of happy hours during the day. There’s lots of water activities to do right from the hotel beach area. We went jet skiing…very well run. Find Nika…he’s a happy guy that will help you. The lifeguard was super fit, organized, professional and friendly…we would trust him to save us. There’s also many massage places a stone’s throw away. We went to both…recommend Sandbar over Medano…both are good, but Sandbar was more relaxing as you don’t hear the club/bars boomer music and shouting into microphones. The gym is nice…good equipment and cardio, machine and free weights. Wished they had a roller and newer floor mats. There are many tasty restaurants walking distance and in the area. We went to Chamuyo, Tres Sieras, Baja Brewing and Entranta. The staff in general are super nice and friendly. The maids are hardworking and keep the rooms and patio clean. We left them a nice tip.
