Really pleasant stay at Movenpick Bangtao. Its a tad old but the hotel is well maintained and the environment is great for families. It has large rooms, a nice pool and close to the beach. There are mosquitoes though which can be annoying. Overall still 5 star

Really enjoyed the stay .. room was large and clean but a little dated as was the pool facilities. This didn’t stop us having a great time. Staff were excellent and very eager and willing to please Breakfast was excellent and service from Abby and Orly was amazingly warm and generous. Close to the beach and Smigos beach restaurant which was excellent.

The property was well situated and 10min away from great local restaurants. Service from check in to check out all were exceptional. Greeted w Tea and host was able to accomodate us as we arrived much earlier than our regular checkin time. Facilties were excellent - clean and very well kept. Grear breakfast and good service all around. Will be back again. Beach was just few steps away w local restaurants as well.

Quiet location, great for families. We stayed in 2 bedroom accomodation that was really spacious, with view for both sunrise n sunsets. The beds were cosy, and the apartment was tastefully decorated and resourced. Obviously due to low season less staff on the ground, but those who were there, were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. The access to beach very easy.

We got the room with a private pool. It was a lovely room & the location was perfect! The hotel will provide a ride in a golf cart to the Laguna Golf Course, which is only a quick ride. The beach is sooo close! Be sure to grab sundowners at the beach restaurant Club 22. So nice to have your feet in the sand w/a drink watching the sunset and be so close to our room as well. The staff were so friendly and quick! Pang at the front desk gave us great tips of where to go and we enjoyed each place. We will definitely stay here again!!

We loved this resort! Our room was amazing. If you can splurg for the room with the private pool, get it!! It is so worth it to be able to take a swim at 3am, and you never leave your room. We had a room with two bedrooms, and it was huge. The place is uniquely designed and very nice. The staff is amazingly. Yean took care of us almost every day. He was excellent. The beach was a short walk away. I would recommend this resort to everyone. It is a little secluded. So you will have to take a taxi when you need to do things outside of the resort. But the staff makes that easy for you also. They get you a car really quickly. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. Our stay was amazing!!

Worst stay in last 10 years and I have done 100's
This hotel could have been great but deficient management made our stay horrible: When we arrived in pour suite with pool the pool was dirty. There is no coffee machine in the room, no electric plugs by the bedstand, the AC is malfunctioning... We had to ask 3 times for someone to open the door of the restroom that someone had locked. Even the welcome fruits were rotten. The food is a disaster: Shrimps for our lunch smelled and tasted bad, chicken was frozen. They make you pay the breakfast if you order it room service, EVEN IF INCLUDED. Anyway Breakfast buffet is very limited, bread and pastries are either soagy or dry, the butter is not butter but bad cream cheese,natural yogurt is not natural but heavy with sugar (what a joke for a swiss chain...). And you dont get OJ if you come after 9.30. Traveller you should pass your way. Mr Movenpick you should audit this property
