"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that?...

"I needed to contact Expedia customer support to find the location of the hotel/condos because there several in this area with different towers and tower names. So that part was confusing but luckily I sorted it out. I booked last minute so I was a bit worried about finding it in a timely manner but both Expedia and the host were able to connect quickly. "Unit was tidy, and well maintained. Any problems were solved quickly. Location is good but like most of the philippines traffic noise is high! Suggested improvements would be a real mattress on the bed instead of foam. Otherwise no problems here at all!"

"Rooms are clean and spacious. You can really sleep comfortably with their clean linens. You can bring in and cook food . Lacking kitchen appliances though like kettle, microwave , oven toaster. Cooking stove we had has 1 burner working, the other is useless :( That was time consuming working on a single burner. "The total service was good. The staff were approachable and always ready to assist us. The only thing that I notice was most of the pools are not available and not that clean as well. We only enjoyed our stay in the room. Cafeteria only have few food options and a bit pricey. But it was a good thing that they are allowing guests to order thru online food delivery. "

"The staff are courteous and very helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The room is good, but there are no toiletries. You have to buy then in the lobby. There is no drinking water available inside the room. You have to bring your pitcher down and ask one of the staff to bring you drinking water from their cafeteria."

"Great view of the Taal. Good food and shopping very close. Casino and amusement park 15 minutes walk. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Tagatay is a very noisy city, so be prepared for that. We would stay there again. Robinson supermarket and a small mall with good food right next door. "
