The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Only slight negative would be have to pay for use of spa if not booking direct. Not cheap at £20 for an hour and the spa isn't the best with insufficient room to swim properly and water not quite warm enough to sit about in (also best area for sitting the jets weren't working)."

Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening.
