"Extremely pleasant stay at The Barns for a couple of nights while we were visiting for a family wedding. Staff were very accommodating and friendly and the rooms were large, with a VERY comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. "Lots of great things to rave about but the number one was the staff. They were exceptional, from the receiption to the restaurant, they really made our stay. "Excellent concept. Staffless hotel but the rooms were clean and modern and fresh, access was easy, the area felt safe. I wish I’d come up with the idea of buying pubs and turning them into this type of hotel, it’s great. "It was value for money. The hotel was a little tired but mostly clean and presentable. We very much appreciated a room upgrade but the chap that checked us in spoke in a robotic manner with little eye contact. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and helpful"

Full of surprises and great for families

"Our stay at Wychnor Park Country Club was fantastic. There were some issues with our accommodation but nothing that really ruined our short stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the fantastic staff and then went on to the apartment. Whilst only 2 bed it was huge and easily accommodated the 6 of us. Some minor cleanliness issues but not anything that ruined our trip. Facilities are fantastic and so much to do. The leisure centre was more than enough and suitable for our family, just a shame that it closed early on the Wednesday and couldn’t access it in the morning of our departure. But will definitely be looking to stay again and really enjoy the facilities. Some minor things that could be improved but all in all we really enjoyed our stay."
