"Everything was perfect, room cleaned and fresh towels everyday. Bed was comfortable and room was warm. Breakfast was hot and a good variety of cooked and continental to choose from. Perfect location for Stoke on Trent and motorway. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful throughout stay."

"We love this hotel, good value and good size room, plus having the pool is really great , old skool decor but we love it. Post modernist interiors that we really enjoy! Hope they don't update it, the decor is now trendy in a post modernist nostalgic way"

"We stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The staff were very obliging to ensure our Christmas lunch went to plan. We were glad there was plenty of space in the room, with a clean and tidy hotel that was nicely decorated. "

"Clean room but needs refurbishing like painting in the toilet/shower and doors. Staff are courteous as always. Amenities are ample. I like the sauna. I am disabled and the staff in the pool area approached and said they can help me get in the pool if I like to. They said I could get in the sauna in the wheelchair which I did and the people inside were all friendly. "

"The hotel was exceptional , the rooms were amazing and the food was 5star . The only issue we have is the manner that the head or I presume the head of service in the breakfast restaurant spoke to her staff . She in our view needs to put on a course for man management. I have to say if we had been spoken too the way she addressed her staff we would have walked out . She was the only let down in the whole of the hotel . "
