"Thank you all at Brighton Metropole!.. Excellent check in with Minty. Fast, efficient, cookies! Room all ready by 3.30. King size room very spacious/ clean Hallways clean, smells nice, quiet Overall, very quiet hotel. No disturbance whatsoever and I slept v well. Hotel bar staff also excellent/ friendly with good service, keeping an eye on customers needs. Food came within 20 mins. Only negative is the Wellness centre. One famiky changing room otherwise only X2 women's toilets. Also, you need to bring your own padlock for locker. Overall a fantastic stay"

"We had a beach facing tower room which was massive, huge panoramic window to the sea front. Massive bathroom with corner whirlpool bath. The breakfast was excellent, we were little late getting down but all the food was fresh and appetizing esp the Lincolnshire sausages. Being on the seafront parking is an issue and we used the Lanes car park which whilst only minutes from the hotel door was very expensive and should be factored into your calculations. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Upon arrival there was 2 ladies front of house. Blonde hair and dark hair ladies..i arrive early only to query car parking the blonde hair lady asked her colleague if there was any spaces. Abruptly she replied no..i looked at the lady we were both shock at her abruptness. The blonde haired lady felt sorry and tried her best giving me advice where to park.. If it wasnt for the kindness and empathy the blonde hair lady gave me i would have canceled my reservation. As for me 1st impressions make impact ."

"This is our second stay at The Grand. It is a beautiful hotel - a little shabby in places. Surprised to find that in a huge hotel like this that both lifts were out of order and only one small service lift for all huests plus service requirements. Breakfast is a fantastic offering although sorry to see that since our last visit you now need to use drink machines yourself. It is ok paying £20 for a fabulous buffet but it is nice to be served tea and coffee. Difficult to carry both breakfast and do drinks at the same time so involves an extra trip up to buffet. Will definitely be back."
