"This is our 5th stay at the Santa Barbara and the first time we've been uncomfortable around the pool! We planned a relaxing week sunning ourselves around the pool as usual, however, the amount of children/toddlers running around the main pool was unbearable. Screaming children, balls thrown around the pool aswell as ball games in the pool was nothing wed experienced here on our previous stays. Children should be in the childrens pool not the main pool where people are trying to relax."

"It was nice staying at the hotel, but there was limited staff and not enough warning about restaurants and shops being closed on Sunday, including food delivery. The hotel accommodation was pleasant, but the hotel was isolated and the entrance caused problems for taxi hire. The one-way road was inconvenient and the room was near a noisy main road, so ear-plugs were an essential travel item. "Good place to stay in the heart of very nice small town of Vilaflor. Really good value for money. There is a well-equipped guest kitchen. A supermarket is located next door, but has only small selection, and the same applies to the two other local supermarkets. Bus connections here are fairly good, but only one bus per day to Teide, which can be full to the last seat. Staff was friendly and helpful although I didn't meet them, just communicated through WhatsApp. My main complain is lack of warm...

"My goddaughter and I did a 3 day visit and saw that this Hotel was close to the Airport and bus transportation was right outside of the hotel. The bedroom was separated from the lil kitchen and living room. Would definitely recommend and if ever have an opportunity to come back, would definitely stay here again."

"We always enjoy staying at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The shower is the best hotel shower we have ever been in! A large, powerful, rain shower head. Pure luxury! The food at the hotel is amazing and varied. The waiters and waitresses are always available and willing to serve you drinks and snacks and always with a smile. "

Great Hotel, will return

"Just had a great stay at the Hotel Medano. Great staff, big rooms, nice bathroom, good air conditioning and clean. The breakfast quality and choice was very good. The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe. I booked a seaview room butcthe seaview rooms with a balcony can see right into the room when sitting on their balcony."

"I've stayed 4 times at this hotel now. So I guess I really like it! It's really convenient to Tenerife South airport (22 euros taxi). That does mean the planes fly overhead, but they never bothered us. The hotel is nice and it's big (it takes a while to work out how to get around!), Its on a slope - so some walking up and down steps/ramps required. Rooms are really large and very quiet. Bathrooms have a bath. The all-inclusive is great. Food in the dining room is a buffet and there's always lots of choice. Staff are nice. We like the numerous pools. There is various entertainment. For us it's a very easy hotel to just go and chill and get some winter sun. It is a little shabby around the edges, but taking everything into consideration, for the price, it's great. I can't comment on the area outside, as we never stepped foot outside, as were just there to rest and recharge batteries, for which its perfect!"

"Perfect for a quick escape. It does say beach access but it’s just next to the beach, no dinners there or anything g and it’s not a private section. But food was good and the bar served good drinks. "
