Independent, Kumamoto hotels

"A nice newer hotel in downtown Kumamoto. It’s right on top of the Sakuramachi mall and the bus terminal, a very convenient location. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. However, the lobby is on the 14th floor and there is no concierge or bellboy on the main entrance (which is actually on the second floor of the parking of the mall) and no signs outside on the streets, so it’s rather confusing for people driving using GPS to look for the hotel (it just tells you you have arrived on the...

"This hotel had excellent service in English! Check-in was smooth, with lots of public parking nearby. There were lots of free amenities, the room was very clean, and the location was fantastic."

"Location was superb right outside the Hanabatacho station. Across the street from the Kumamoto Castle and in a huge shopping district. Staff were great the only negatives were the desk chair was heavily stained along with the bed pillows needed replacing. With a little upkeep we would of given this hotel 5 stars."
