"Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Fine dining restaurant. Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced. Music playing from 10am till after midnight is loud passes in the main building front rooms. The Sikelianios villa restaurant was closed (2024), villa was unaccessible. Overall, highly recommended. "

"Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial". Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. The carpets everywhere looked worn and not vacuumed. The doors to the rooms were plain wooden doors you might have in your house. One of them had a crack in it that you could see light come through. We ended up with an old and well-used bathroom with a plastic shower curtain which the website photos show only for the economy rooms we which didn't have. "Our room and outside area to the room were excellent. Food option were limited as off season the a la carte restaurant was closed except on one day. I didn't like the buffet at all for breakfast, overall the room was like a 5 star hotel and buffet an average 3 star. Overall I rate this a 4 for that reason. "
