"If you want a Robinson Crusoe holiday, Head Tien is as good as it gets if you still want an ensuite, a restaurant and a pool. Utterly charming place, could do a bit more on maintenance, cleanliness & shuttle options for the price, but the staff and location make up for any gaps. Be aware that it is on an almost vertical hill, so lots of steps up to rooms and down to restaurants so if you're not fit, it might not be...

"The resort is on a stunning tip of the island and the snorkeling is fantastic. This is our main reason for the hotel. The breakfast was good and provided different foods for all tastes. We enjoyed cocktails and the shuttle was handy for any trips to the town. Our room was a little tired and for instance our bedside tables had no sockets near them so unusable. Bed was really comfortable. View from our room was beautiful. Room was very dark and hot. We borrowed a fan as I don't like Aircon when...
