"I had a great stay at Thalassa. It’s located on the small walk street along Sairee Beach that has all the shops and restaurants. My room had a fantastic king sized bed parked on a teak wood platform with lots of pillows. There was a choice between 3 breakfasts included with the room - all looked delicious. Nice place at a good price!"

"If you want a Robinson Crusoe holiday, Head Tien is as good as it gets if you still want an ensuite, a restaurant and a pool. Utterly charming place, could do a bit more on maintenance, cleanliness & shuttle options for the price, but the staff and location make up for any gaps. The snorkling is also great - shoals of large parrot fish chopping on coral.
