"The motel is Wonderfull!! We plan on going back. Take advantage of the amenities at both locations. Book as soon as you arrive as they are reservation based. "Absolutely wonderful property! Alison warmly welcomed us and guided us throughout. Scandinavian design with Mid Century Vintage furnishings. This room features a private entrance, vintage desk and large window nook. We enjoyed the views of the beautiful grounds while seated on your private lounge chairs outside of our room. The onsite Dandelion restaurant had amazing vibe and equally amazing food and drinks. Breakfast was a lovely basket that we enjoyed in our patio. Large, clean bathrooms....

"I had always heard about the Catskills, but had never been before now. Found the Shandaken Inn on an internet search, and wasn't sure if it would be all it seemed to be. it was even better! The property was gorgeous, surrounded by inviting peaks; a large open field, with a swimming pool at one end and several independent cottages at the other, offered a great place for our dog and us to amble; a short nature trail, well maintained, connected to an old railroad bed that was nice to stroll. ...

During our short stay, we felt we had an amazing experience feeling the warmth and hospitality of both Kurt and Lisa. Our room was very comfy and warm. We had a lovely experience at their restaurant Friday night; both Kurt and Lisa embraced us all during my birthday meal. The food was also delicious."

"one bedroom suite was very nice and spacious. The heat and hot water were great. Upstairs occupants could be heard but they were quiet after 10 pm. Access into the apt was easy. Apt needs a deep clean and dusting. The night stand in the bedroom does not reach the bed height. Only 1 tv but we moved it and it worked fine in the bedroom. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Close to supermarket, CVS, restaurants, shops and of course skiing."
