"We were greeted by the owner with a smile and very helpful information to make our stay excellent. She sat down with us to help us plan our hiking experience. The room was extremely clean and set up nicely. The food was delicious and the homemade chocolate chip cookies were the best ever! A wonderful stay and I recommend it highly."

"As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. "Very nice resort, great pool and hot tub.Room was very clean and had a complete kitchen.
The game room was decent, but nothing to write home about.
Only issue was the coffee maker did not have the pot to go with it. I had to put my cup under the spout and push up against the coffee maker nozzle with my fingers to coax the hot coffee to come out! HOT coffee which my fingers didn’t enjoy."
