"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Kobe Suites. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It is a well-designed hotel on the best stretch of beach in Watamu which is also part of the nature reserve. When we dined in, the food and drink was excellent and moderately priced. "

"Visited off season the hotel was very quiet and the main pool was closed for refurbishment. If I had known I would have cancelled my booking. The check in staff focused on my wife giving her all the info and the bill, which I thought was odd but not a deal breaker. "This hotel has amazing potential and was probably once quite grand. The facilites are tired and in need of maintenance and updates. We were there out of season so it was very quiet and the staff seemed a little challenged in knowing what to do. The beach is great and the grounds are super. "This was the WORST hotel experience we've ever had. 1) The beds do not have any foam so basically you lie on a piece of wooden board. Literally. We actually checked.
