"Steeton Hall was a lovely property to stay at in the area. It is an historic bed & breakfast with full on-site restaurant and bar. The staff were warm and welcoming and very accommodating; the room we were given was apparently the honeymoon suite because it had a stunning four-poster bed in it. Dinner and breakfast were first-rate - highly recommend!!"

"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about.
