We loved our stay. The room and property were impeccably clean, and we had an amazing view. Plus, the bed was sooooo comfortable. The hotel is connected to Crown Center, so it was lovely walking around and checking out the stores and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was fabulous, and the food and drinks were DELICIOUS. Honestly, after checkout there was a "Tourism" fee of $22, a "Kansas City development fee,' a $25 hotel parking fee and then of course the taxes. Prepare to pay at least $50 more than you book for. Also, honest truth, after our first elevator experience, we timed the elevators and three times it was 20 minutes! Seriously insane! The convenience of proximity to Crowne Center was totally eclipsed by a total of 80 minutes spent waiting for elevators to and from our room. Stairs were not an option with two huge strollers and babies. On a good note, Union Station at Christmas is one of the best things you can visit!
