An award-winning attraction that sees millions of visitors every year flocking to enjoy the thrill of the rides and rollercoasters and to see the park's rare animals.

Ocean Park is Hong Kong’s biggest theme park. The park has exhibitions of rare animal species and a dolphin breeding centre alongside more than 20 different rides and rollercoasters.Ocean Park is divided into two distinct areas - The Summit and The Waterfront - separated by a mountain that runs between the two. You can travel between these two areas by shuttle bus, cable car and funicular railway. The park is located in Hong Kong’s southern district, in the areas of Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan. Get to Ocean Park first thing in the morning to enjoy fantastic views over the South China Sea from the rotating observation deck at the tower in The Summit. The tower is also home to the Atoll Reef, a four-storey aquarium that holds over 250 species of exotic fish and marine life. The Summit has a number of white-knuckle rides and attractions. To feel your stomach lurch, look no further than the 61-metre high The Abyss, which sends passengers hurtling down a sheer drop at an incredible speed. For something fun and educational, cross over to The Waterfront. Head to Gator Marsh and admire the Chinese alligators before learning all about the importance of goldfish in the Goldfish Pavilion. Younger children will love the jungle gym and Animal Story Corner, while the whole family will enjoy the Giant Panda Adventure. This specially built habitat is home to rare giant pandas and red pandas. Ocean Park has several different theatres, including the Ocean Theatre which has a rotating programme of productions and exhibitions featuring the park’s marine residents. The educational Bird Theatre puts on performances involving falcons, vultures and eagles. Admission to the shows is often included in the ticket price, but this is worth checking when you book. Children under three are admitted free of charge to all shows. Open every day except major holidays, Ocean Park is located at Admiralty MTR Station (take Exit B). You can also take the number 629 bus from Central Pier 7.
